Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in mid-level administration, business, management, or related field
  • Direct experience working within a nonprofit organization or early-stage start-up environment is strongly preferred
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • A self-starter able to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently with a driven and motivated work ethic
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills are of the highest importance

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Executive Committee (EC) members (i.e., CEO and their direct reports)
  • Conduct research, prepare ad-hoc reports, and handle information requests
  • Perform clerical functions
  • Serve as the liaison for the Manager of Executive Office to various departments across SEO
  • Maintain calendars
  • Greet visitors
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Prepare and submit expense reports
  • Organize communications
  • Schedule, coordinate, and prepare for Executive and Board meetings and other recurring or ad-hoc meetings
  • Maintain files, records, and correspondence for various meetings
  • Research, collect and/or analyze data to prepare documents for EC members’ review and presentation
  • Collaborate with Executive Office team members in daily work tasks, including coverage and problem solving
  • Assist in preparing documentation for fiscal and regulatory authorities, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
