2+ years of prior relevant experience in a warehouse
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of prior relevant experience in the event industry or hospitality
Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Previous experience in similar setting
Advanced knowledge of pop, décor, and furniture assembly and disassembly
Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment
Intermediate knowledge of power and hand tools
Excellent organization and time management skills
Responsibilities
Assign warehouse tasks to Warehouse Staff and outside labor, monitoring and enforcing proper handling techniques for all items to prevent damage and loss
Ensure that all décor, props, furniture and other event related items are pulled, packed, transported and returned to shelves in an efficient, timely manner, adhering to all timelines and safety standards
Maintain warehouse and related work areas in clean and safe condition and meet client expectations
Develop in depth knowledge of warehouse inventory and storage locations, hotel and venue locations, loading dock locations and procedures, and ensure safety and security policies are followed
Anticipate, troubleshoot and solve inventory and warehouse technical, creative and timeline issues
Operate company vans, trucks, and lifts in a safe manner, notify management of any gas and maintenance needs
Monitor handling and condition of company tools, inventory, equipment and vehicles, document and report theft, loss and damage
Stay current in design trends, technology, prop and design elements as well as specialty decor technique and assembly and usage
Inspire creativity, model best practices, and be familiar with owned inventory as well as vendor items
