This is a field-based role requiring on-site presence with clients, frequent domestic travel, and time away from home, often with little notice.
A university degree in Engineering or Technology in Electricity, Electromechanics, Mechanics or equivalent is required, along with good electrical and mechanical aptitude, analytical skills for troubleshooting Hpump issues, effective computer skills with Microsoft Office, and strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
The role involves leading field service teams confidently, performing well in a team-focused environment with an emphasis on safe task execution, professional communication with clients, and adherence to Baker Hughes' HSE policies, legal compliance, and core values.
Candidates with over 1 year of experience in horizontal pumping systems (Hpump), oil and gas field experience, certifications in electrical categories 3,4,5 (Conatel or equivalent), basic to intermediate English, rotating machines, condition-based maintenance (CBM), and PLC platform programming are highly desirable.
