A strong understanding of RCRA, DOT, TSCA, and other relevant regulatory bodies is required. The position is remote and requires the candidate to reside in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or surrounding states, with a willingness to travel 10-20% within the area.
The Customer Support Supervisor - Environmental Solutions will manage a team of Customer Support Specialists, handling complex projects and high-level customer concerns. This role involves interfacing with regulators, customers, sales, and operations to ensure smooth waste acceptance and disposal. Responsibilities include assisting sales representatives with pricing and logistics, monitoring calls for quality assurance, recommending services to customers, determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting workflow, and standardizing procedures for efficiency. The supervisor will also interface with customers and operations to ensure project completion, provide service proposals, make decisions on scheduling and coordinating transportation, arrange off-site shipments, prepare necessary documentation, and support sales representatives. Additionally, the role involves gathering information for customer audits, partnering with attorneys on contracts, creating budgets, tracking expenditures, providing staff training and guidance, managing the customer service function for efficient operations, and participating in strategic planning for program growth. Other assigned duties as apparent or assigned will also be performed.
