  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience)
  • Demonstrated maintenance experience with wafer fab, lasers, grinding, material handling, and/or surface mount process equipment
  • Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and written descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems (some descriptions may be verbal)
  • Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including being independently mobile, interacting with a computer, and communicating with peers and co-workers

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for equipment maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Develop specifications, troubleshooting methodologies, and support systems
  • Perform cleaning tasks for office area, sub fab, and gas farm as assigned by team leader or manager
  • Run projects, including performing complex tests, interpreting data, developing key reports, and providing updates to the broader team
  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations
  • Look for and make improvements to optimize work processes
  • Meet operational attainment of Safety, Quality, and Service goals
  • Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations
