Full-time availability for 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Ability to work at 150 Industrial Dr, North Smithfield, RI 02896
Experience or ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (based on role assignment)
Capability to perform under general supervision

Responsibilities

Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to safely move and position items onto vehicles
Inspects for damages, defects, or issues and reports quality concerns to supervisors
Arranges load requirements to maximize trailer use, minimize imbalance, movement, and damage
Conducts preliminary safety checks of equipment, verifies orders, trailer size, and number
Assists in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Contributes to accurate inventory records, tracks stock levels, monitors product availability
Ensures correct products, quantities, and specifications match orders by checking labels, SKUs, etc
Determines balanced weight distribution on trucks for stability and accident prevention
Coordinates with warehouse personnel, drivers, or loaders for smooth operations
Maintains equipment/warehouse operations under general supervision and communicates deviations
Collects feedback from employees to ensure responsive technical support
Documents warehouse maintenance activities for inventory replenishment
Defines operational strategy for warehouse department and instructs equipment operators
Organizes warehouse facilities and uses power equipment to move and stack pallets/freight
Communicates with operators, contractors, and inspectors on daily obstacles/challenges
Monitors operator associates, delegates tasks, and revises schedules based on plans
Performs preventative maintenance on hydraulic components and equipment for reliability
Determines scope of maintenance work for heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
