Requirements

  • Industry certifications including but not limited to: CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate), ACSA (Aruba Certified Switching Associate), TAFE Cert IV in Networking, TAFE Diploma in Networking, or completion of Cisco Networking Academy / CCNA stream of courses (university degree not required but nice to have)
  • Technical proficiency in Cisco networking devices
  • Technical proficiency in HPN devices (H3C, ProCurve, 3Com, Aruba) – optional
  • Technical proficiency in F5 technologies
  • Technical proficiency in Riverbed SteelHead appliances
  • Python, scripting, or programming knowledge (bonus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong customer focus and results-oriented approach

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial triage and verification of network events and alerts
  • Log and manage incident records in alignment with ITIL standards
  • Respond to inbound support calls and create incident tickets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents or escalate to appropriate teams
  • Coordinate with vendors and field services to ensure timely resolution
  • Document root cause analyses (RCAs) and support RMA processes
  • Investigate, diagnose, and validate incidents upon contact
