Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline; alternatively, commensurate work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in federal and state environmental permitting in the oil and gas sector. Louisiana permitting experience would be preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, with demonstrable strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to evaluate and clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications as needed for effective job performance

Responsibilities

  • Provide the environmental lead for coordination of engineering, right-of-way, and public affairs to develop applications and obtain the environmental approvals necessary to support timely project construction
  • Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
  • Manage environmental data and associated databases
  • Oversee compliance with environmental permits, legislation, and Company Standards
  • Effectively engage with government regulators during permit acquisition
  • Review construction progress and monitor environmental impacts and compliance
