Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational & Safety or Master's degree in Engineering and Post Graduate Studies in Occupational Safety
  • 3 years' experience related to environmental, health, and safety aspects in a manufacturing or field service organization
  • Understand business metrics related to responsibilities for use in project planning and support of goals
  • Fluent English - B2 level

Responsibilities

  • Support in the implementation and maintenance of the regional environmental and safety management systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company procedures
  • Participate in and assist with government agencies' field visits to understand the regulations and to ensure compliance
  • Support, implement, maintain and modify Headquarters EHS field and non-operations oriented procedures to ensure compliance to the EHS permits and regulations
  • Provide technical support, input and coordination on EHS issues that affect projects and processes at the regional/country level
  • Respond to customer requests for EHS Plans such as safety manual for on-site project work and support the project implementation plan
  • Report monthly injury/illness metrics to HQ-EHS; support the business in investigation of injury and illnesses; analyze work related injury and illness data, using methods like 5Why / Ishikawa / 4 cases analyze or other available tools to identify actions to prevent a recurrence of the injury/illness; and support efforts to return employees to productive work within assigned medical restrictions
  • Prepare periodical updates based on EHS reports provided by businesses into global applications and support businesses in time and quality
  • Ensure that EHS assessments, procedures, training and other control measures by regulation or Rockwell Automation policy and procedures are provided for the facilities, field and non-operations personnel
