Requirements

Education in a relevant area of study such as Environmental, Health, and Safety or Engineering
Student in good standing at an accredited educational institution with a grade point average of at least 3.0
Knowledge of current and relevant Federal and State EHS regulations and best practices
Excellent writing/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively in a team
Accomplished computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database experience
Self-directed and able to work without or minimal supervision
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through the duration of the program ending August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

Implementing and supporting projects and programs to protect people, processes, equipment, products, and the environment from injury, risk, and economic loss
Working directly with EHS personnel, operations teams, and other support functions as an EHS resource; providing safety program updates, updating EHS documents including but not limited to job hazard analysis, and process documents
Coordinating and conducting training, audits, program reviews, and hazard identification as needed
Maintaining EHS metric boards, preparing documentation for review, and coordinating submission of regulatory reports
Updating required EHS and safety training documents to promote safety awareness and address unsafe behavior and conditions
