Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture and cloud transformations
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (mandatory); specialty certifications (Security, Advanced Networking, Machine Learning, DevOps, or Data Analytics) highly desirable
  • Proficient in designing architectures leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, EKS/ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Packer
  • Strong working knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Python) for automation, orchestration, and API
  • Must have skills: AWS Core Infrastructure
  • 15 years full-time education

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise architecture strategies and operating models
  • Articulate a compelling enterprise architecture vision, target state, and transformation roadmap
  • Lead multiple large-scale AWS transformation initiatives—defining cloud adoption strategies, modernization roadmaps, and enterprise-scale architecture blueprints
  • Architect end-to-end AWS solutions, leveraging native services for compute, storage, networking, and security, with a focus on scalability, cost optimization, and resilience
  • Partner with pursuit and sales teams to develop innovative, cost-effective AWS solutions for new opportunities, RFPs, and proactive proposals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive solution convergence, technical validation, and client alignment across all phases of the sales cycle
  • Participate actively in client orals and executive discussions, effectively articulating the AWS value proposition and differentiators
  • Lead the design and prototyping of proof-of-concept (PoC) architectures and accelerators to demonstrate solution feasibility and innovation
  • Define migration strategies aligned with the 6Rs framework (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain) and help clients modernize applications using cloud-native services
  • Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to evaluate and optimize workloads for security, performance, reliability, operational excellence, and cost efficiency
  • Develop reusable solution assets, accelerators, and reference architectures for consistent delivery across engagements
  • Provide thought leadership in AWS architecture best practices, emerging trends (AI/ML, serverless, edge computing, GenAI, etc.), and industry-specific modernization patterns
  • Mentor and guide architecture teams, fostering capability development, technical excellence, and innovation within the AWS practice
