Requirements

Familiarity with FTP and SFTP protocols
Solid understanding of advanced topics in systems integration, such as Web APIs and Data Streams
Knowledge of data encryption techniques and their importance
Experience using an ETL tool, preferably Informatica, and proficiency in relational databases
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data transformation and cleansing processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
Prior experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in system integrations and/or ETL processes, with demonstrable experience in using integration tools like Informatica and Microsoft SSIS

Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to assess the impact of the Florida PALM implementation on existing interfaces
Develop strategic plans to transition legacy systems to modern integrations using technologies such as Informatica and Microsoft .NET
Identify and document data input and output requirements for various departmental computing systems interfacing with the Department of Financial Services FLAIR
Design, implement, and test data integration processes ensuring data integrity and financial accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial data requirements and create extensive financial data models
Research, select, and implement the most suitable data integration tools focused on security, efficiency, and compliance
Construct and execute robust testing plans to guarantee the functionality and reliability of integration solutions
Provide mentorship to internal staff regarding best practices in using Informatica tools
Create thorough documentation on data integration processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
Support the reporting remediation team in fulfilling data requirements for specific projects
Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
