Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in writing, journalism, or editorial communications, a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus), exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, and a proven ability to produce clear, compelling content under tight deadlines. They should also demonstrate a strong understanding of regional cultural and media landscapes, particularly in Saudi Arabia, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The English Copywriter will be responsible for creative storytelling and content development, producing a broad range of editorial content including social posts, editing content provided by clients and outside editorial contributors, copywriting of by-lines, white papers, and other materials, and providing a great understanding and experimentation with using Generative AI for producing editorial content, while adhering to Edelman’s guidelines for responsible AI use and counseling account teams on best practices. They will also provide strategic editorial counsel to clients and internal stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
