Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building and tech leading high-craft software products, with deep experience in user-facing product development or shipping AI features from 0-1
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs, understanding of how they work, and genuine curiosity to go deep on the technology
  • Strong track record of coaching and mentoring software engineers
  • Experienced in solving ambiguous problems and owning complex technical initiatives/projects with outsized business impact
  • Pragmatic, motivated by nebulous problems, and excited to work in a startup environment with quick product validation cycles
  • Ability to work in North American time zones with 4+ hours of overlap with the team

Responsibilities

  • Shape Dia’s feature roadmap with technical leaders and lead with rapid prototyping: build interactive prototypes, validate with users and team, translate into high-craft production code
  • Prototype, architect, and execute LLM-powered features, ensuring decisions are grounded in user impact and business value
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team of Product Engineers, growing their technical depth, craft quality, and product thinking through fast, iterative cycles
  • Proactively improve, identify, and implement engineering-wide processes and architecture focused on performance, stability, and maintainability
  • Deliver high-craft, interaction-rich user experiences that set a new industry standard
