Requirements

  • Strong expertise in connectivity stack (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and Android framework
  • Experience with Qualcomm host processors (SA8255, SA8155, SA8295) and Android-based infotainment platforms
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth profiles (Classic, BLE, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, MAP, SPP, HID, PAN)
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi stack features (hotspot, STA, P2P, Soft-AP, tethering, concurrent mode)
  • Experience with Projection software (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Google Automotive Assistant - AAA)
  • Understanding of system architecture for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Projection subsystems and Android layers (Connectivity, HAL, Network Manager)
  • Familiarity with ASPICE Level 2+ processes (SWE1–SWE6)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated build validation, static analysis
  • Leadership experience managing teams of 15–20 engineers
  • Ability to mentor on Android Connectivity Framework, Bluetooth stack debugging, Wi-Fi firmware integration

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end software development for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Projection (CarPlay/Android Auto/AAA) features
  • Manage feature design, integration, and testing across Qualcomm-based Android platforms (SA8255/SA8155/SA8295)
  • Own Bluetooth stack integration including specified profiles
  • Oversee Wi-Fi stack integration covering specified modes and operations
  • Drive Projection software integration ensuring functional and certification compliance
  • Ensure seamless audio, projection, and connectivity coexistence within Android system
  • Define system-level architecture for subsystems and Android framework interactions
  • Ensure robust coexistence management between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • Coordinate with Audio and Telephony teams for routing, call handoff, and A2DP optimization
  • Integrate Qualcomm connectivity SDKs (QCA/CNSS/WCN) into platform builds
  • Drive technical feasibility analysis for new features and software evolution planning
  • Plan and manage software deliverables for OEM programs, adhering to milestones and budgets
  • Maintain compliance with ASPICE and internal development processes
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated validation, and static analysis
  • Track software quality metrics (feature completion, defects, regression rates, certification readiness)
  • Drive resolution of interoperability and certification issues (BT SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, CarPlay, Android Auto)
  • Manage NOK and field issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Lead team of 15–20 engineers, define roles, KPIs, and performance expectations
  • Foster culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Mentor technical leads on key technologies
  • Drive competency development via workshops, cross-training, and updates
  • Act as primary technical interface to OEM and Tier-1 customers
  • Represent team in design reviews, technical audits, and certifications
