Requirements

Degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
Off Highway truck or mining industry application knowledge
Extensive experience in Electrical installation product design and development
Experience directing project staffing; motivating and developing team members in a high paced environment
Electrical SDP experience and ability to influence through expertise
Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups
Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies
Knowledge of effective project management

Responsibilities

Lead the team to achieve all New Product Introduction (NPI) deliverables including cost, velocity, reliability, and quality targets
Lead the team in Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) activities by addressing feedback from Product Support and Manufacturing
Drive collaboration with product development groups, value chain, manufacturing, commercial, and product support
Direct project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members
Provide leadership for design reviews and conformance to design guidelines and best practices
Oversee project progress, communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and lifecycle efficiency
Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities
