  • Degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum
  • Off Highway truck or mining industry application knowledge
  • Extensive experience in Electrical installation product design and development
  • Experience directing project staffing; motivating and developing team members in a high paced environment
  • Electrical SDP experience and ability to influence through expertise
  • Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups
  • Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies
  • Knowledge of effective project management

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to achieve all New Product Introduction (NPI) deliverables including cost, velocity, reliability, and quality targets
  • Lead the team in Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) activities by addressing feedback from Product Support and Manufacturing
  • Drive collaboration with product development groups, value chain, manufacturing, commercial, and product support
  • Direct project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members
  • Provide leadership for design reviews and conformance to design guidelines and best practices
  • Oversee project progress, communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and lifecycle efficiency
  • Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities
