Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the development of automotive products, preferably in drivetrain products
  • Development and application of E-Motor, Sensors, and/or Power Electronics products would be a plus
  • Experience working with international teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead & coordinate engineering activities for Dual Clutch Module, P2 Module, and clutch applications in diverse hybrid transmissions
  • Ensure product development meets technology, budget, and timing targets
  • Communicate with customers and internally with global technical centers, plants, and suppliers
  • Elicit, review, and align customer SORs (Special Order Requirements)
  • Sign off engineering releases for customers, including all technical documents (RASIC, Assembly drawings, DVP&R, technical reports, product change requests, part approval requests, etc.)
  • Act as a customer interface, preparing presentations and presenting engineering-related materials
  • Lead customer troubleshooting, including 8D reports and failure investigation initiatives
  • Support cost reduction activities
  • Support product improvement initiatives
  • Support production facilities and ensure product meets production requirements
  • Support initiatives to obtain new business/customers
  • Adherence to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices, and training
  • Commitment to preventing accidents and illnesses, and reporting all injuries and dangerous situations
