Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an engineer (previously in a staff or TL level IC position) and 2+ years as a manager, or a similar combination
- Strong foundation in modern front-end development (TypeScript, React, Next.Js)
- Experience with CMS-driven environments, SEO, and marketing technology stacks
- Strong customer focus and experience working closely with Product and Marketing partners to define goals, manage trade-offs, and deliver impact
- Experience leading high performing engineering teams in a fast paced environment
- Experience in growing and mentoring engineers
- Experience in managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and work streams
- Based in San Francisco and open to coming into the office at least ~2-3 times/week for team collaboration
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers, located in the US and offshore, responsible for Airtable’s logged-out web experience
- Partner with engineering leaders to drive technical decisions and initiatives to build products in a high-quality and sustainable way
- Nurture a team of passionate and capable engineers. Partner with senior engineers to multiply their impact, and coach & grow early-career engineers
- Partner with cross-functional peers including product, design, and marketing to come up with and execute against short and long term strategy and plans for the team
- Implement processes to help the team scale and be productive, while allowing for agility to accommodate the dynamic environment that we operate in
