Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and product-oriented development within open communities or large-scale developer ecosystems is also required.
The Engineering Manager will lead a group of security and privacy engineers in safeguarding the Wikimedia Foundation’s assets, advise product management on security best practices, contribute to the security roadmap, collaborate with various teams, establish and lead group processes including sprint planning and security incident response, and hire and develop a high-performing engineering group. They will also set direction, remove obstacles, and ensure successful delivery against technical and organizational goals.
