Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing engineering teams

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Extensibility team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence
Provide technical leadership to pioneer new patterns, tools, and frameworks for connector development
Mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow their technical expertise and career paths
Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality, high-volume, enterprise sources for Airbyte
Drive the strategic vision for database connectors and shape the team roadmap to align with company goals
Oversee the planning and execution of projects ensuring milestones are delivered on time by coordinating with cross-functional teams. Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to achieve successful outcomes
Build leverage: a week-long task this year should take ten minutes next year. Advocate for continuous improvement in engineering processes, documentation, and team practices
