Understanding of the engineering landscape in India and ability to navigate market dynamics

Experience in hiring and developing cybersecurity operations and functions including GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance), SAE (Security Architecture), SOC (Security Operations Center), and IAM (Identity & Access Management)
Capability to mentor leads and cultivate talent
Ability to partner with HR on employee engagement, professional development, and retention programs
Skills in establishing and driving KPIs to improve team capabilities and execution
Knowledge to foster a learning culture aligned with modern cybersecurity trends

Responsibilities

Provide people leadership and alignment to the India Cybersecurity team
Develop relationships and collaborate with global leadership to develop strategies supporting the CISO roadmap, innovation, and long-term growth of the India-based team
Provide support and maintain alignment of resource planning and execution of GEBS cybersecurity activities
Drive initiatives aligning India operations with the company vision and technology roadmap, promoting growth and scalability
Champion efforts to enhance collaboration, communication, and transparency within the India team and across global functions
Foster a culture of learning and innovation, encouraging collaborative decision-making
Lead initiatives to foster cross-functional teamwork and break down silos, integrating India operations into the global culture
Hire and develop cybersecurity operations and functions, mentoring leads and cultivating talent
Lead efforts to attract top talent in India to support evolving cybersecurity and business needs
Partner with HR to design and implement programs enhancing employee engagement, professional development, and retention
Establish and drive KPIs to level up team capabilities and execution
Oversee daily deliverables of the India team, focusing on timelines, operational efficiency, scalability, and global standards alignment
Implement processes improving collaboration between India-based teams and global regions for seamless strategic execution
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and insights to enhance performance and contribute to global best practices
Serve as a representative of India operations to global leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities and addressing challenges related to resources, performance, and execution
Collaborate with cross-regional leaders to influence strategic decisions
