Experience effectively communicating with senior leadership and advocating for engineering priorities is also necessary.
The Engineering Manager will drive initiatives to deliver value to users, ensuring the team's software is high quality, highly available, monitored, and maintainable. They will communicate team goals, project scope, and risks, owning the delivery of initiatives on clear timelines. This role involves identifying, building, and iterating on engineering processes to support a high-performing team, engaging in regular one-on-one meetings with team members for technical work and professional development, and providing direct feedback. The manager will ensure developers are supported and empowered throughout their lifecycle, create an inclusive environment, and collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Data Analysis teams.
