Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will lead a geographically distributed team of engineers to drive improvements in the Firefox browser's user interface through innovation and enhancements. Responsibilities include driving initiatives for user value delivery, ensuring high-quality, available, monitored, and maintainable software. This role involves communicating team goals, project scope, and risks, managing project delivery on clear timelines, and identifying/iterating on engineering processes to support a high-performing team. The manager will conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members for technical work and professional development, providing direct feedback. Ensuring developers are supported and empowered throughout their lifecycle, creating an inclusive team environment, and collaborating with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Data Analysis teams are key duties.
