Responsibilities

  • Be a line manager for the engineers in your teams, take complete ownership of the employee lifecycle and drive all people related processes
  • Lead, develop, mentor, and grow engineering specialists reporting to you
  • Manage efficient throughput of your teams and individual engineers and champion a culture of continuous improvement
  • Help translate product vision into clear delivery plans and define ways of working
  • Collaborate with tech and product leadership to ensure your teams have the right tools, skills, and processes; help build, maintain and nurture relationships between product areas and other parts of King, and support teams in delivering value to users
  • Be accountable for the way technical choices are being made in your teams
  • Contribute to development and execution of the Tech Strategy, and also contribute to the Leadership teams
