Requirements

  • 2+ years of Application Support/TechOps experience
  • Team management experience of over 3 years
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Containerization, CI/CD, GitHub/Gitlab, Cloud networking (Must)
  • Oracle, PL/SQL Query, Linux/Unix Shell Scripting (or Python), Java (Must)
  • Keen problem solver with analytical nature and excellent problem-solving skillset
  • Open minded, flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations
  • Able to work flexible hours including some weekends and possibly public holidays
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English with ability to represent complex technical issues/concepts to non-tech stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Delivering all aspects of production support for various applications along with some 3rd party vendor products including incident resolution or proactive mitigation, change & problem management; ensuring compliance to all agreed SLAs and requirements
  • Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
  • Performing a variety of tasks including coordinating all resources and stakeholders, planning and setting milestones, assigning responsibilities and monitoring, summarizing and communicating progress and status
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
  • Acting as SME and independently handling client issues and incident escalations
