Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in field service, specifically with electron microscopy equipment, including Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Small/Large Dual Beam (SDB/LDB) systems. The ideal candidate will also be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance and have experience with complex equipment installation and repair.
The Field Service Engineer III will be responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex electron microscopy systems, conducting scheduled maintenance visits, providing troubleshooting and repair support to customers and other field service personnel, cultivating positive customer relationships, and identifying opportunities for additional learning and specialist training. They will also serve as a company liaison with customers and successfully complete technical training and system testing procedures.
