About the Role

This position is for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) / Test Automation Engineer passionate about optimizing the development and testing lifecycle through automation. The role involves working with large-scale distributed systems and ensuring the integrity of microservice contracts. As part of the Graph Systems Cloud Engineering team, you will contribute to building globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly-scalable cloud-based systems using a microservices architecture. You will develop automation and build tools to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of these systems. The company offers training in Go for those who don't have prior experience. The interview process is conducted online.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to existing tools, frameworks, and related solutions.
  • Plan, design, develop, verify, deploy, and maintain automated test suites.
  • Increase automated test coverage and improve release quality and velocity.
  • Analyze product, system, and feature designs for flaws and improvements.
  • Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data, and applications.
  • Validate and verify customer-facing features end-to-end across the product platform.
  • Leverage new open-source solutions to build new testing tools.
  • Participate in engineering efforts to transform rapid prototypes into large-scale core services.
  • Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • Passion for optimizing development and testing life cycles via tools and process automation.
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Ability to ensure contracts between microservices are honored.
  • Technical and hands-on approach to software development.
  • Willingness to learn Go (training provided).
