2+ years of manufacturing experience in consumer goods or similar
Conversational skills in English and Spanish (desirable)
Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytics skills, and strategy experience (preferred)
Experience with Lean / CI methodologies in operations (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, TPM, or other process improvement certification)
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, global and domestic (may vary based on business needs)
Responsibilities
Work side-by-side with manufacturing leaders to lead operational improvement workstream(s), including development of a workstream charter, problem-solving, data analytics, detailed work plan, and identification of operational and financial KPIs
Solve complex problems at the macro level and line-level for the global manufacturing team
Gain experience to understand operational KPIs and determine appropriate responses to close gaps
Drive operational improvement through implementation of Lean standard tools and concepts (e.g., Flow, Standard Work, 5S, Visual-Management, SMED, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, TPM)
Coach and build capabilities of shop floor-based personnel (makers, supervisors, managers) in new ways of working and problem-solving
Support codification of newly developed approaches, methodologies, and results as part of the SPX program to standardize manufacturing sites
