Senior Energy Data Analyst

Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in energy trading, risk analysis, forecasting, or a related field, along with proficiency in Python, including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter, and advanced skills in SQL for data modeling and analysis, and specific knowledge of the Iberian energy market, particularly OMIE and MIBGAS.
The Energy Markets & Risk Analyst will manage and optimize daily trading operations in OMIE and MIBGAS, monitor hedge positions and market exposure proposing risk mitigation actions, support the execution of wholesale trades collaborating with relevant teams, work with Strategy, Finance, and Data Science teams to align procurement and pricing decisions, build and improve dashboards, risk reports, and forecasting models, analyze forecast accuracy and model performance to contribute to continuous improvement, prepare and submit regulatory reports, and stay informed on regulatory changes and market dynamics.
