Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as an electrical technician or in a similar role, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing environment, with a focus on autonomous systems or defense. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and schematics is essential, along with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. Experience in electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of complex systems is required, as is familiarity with industry standards for electrical safety and compliance. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
The End of Line Electrical Technician will perform end-of-line testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems for autonomous surface vessels. They will conduct final electrical checks and diagnostics on critical components, utilize diagnostic tools to assess functionality, and identify and resolve electrical issues by interpreting schematics. Collaboration with the engineering team to interpret test results and implement corrective actions is required. The technician will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, maintain detailed logs of test results, assist with equipment setup and calibration, and provide feedback to improve product designs.
