Responsibilities

Negotiate and manage freight rates, service agreements, and delivery expectations with third-party transportation companies
Track and analyze inbound and outbound shipments, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement
Review and reconcile freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and approving payments
Coordinate and schedule deliveries to and from facilities and customer locations
Resolve daily transportation issues, such as delays, discrepancies, and customer service concerns
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Sales, Customer Service) to ensure smooth logistics operations
Analyze transportation data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and generate reports on KPIs
Utilize data analysis tools to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Adhere to all applicable regulations, including transportation regulations and food safety standards (e.g., GMP, SQF)
