Job Summary

The primary role of the Regional Sales Manager is to lead a team of inside sales representatives to meet all Altium business objectives and market growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of inside sales representatives to achieve business objectives and market growth plans.
  • Fully leverage data-driven systems and processes in pursuit of these goals.
  • Help customers discover the full value of long-term subscription commitments, auto-renewals, permanent customers, and Altium brand loyalty.
  • Provide detailed, accurate weekly forecasts to senior management; analyze sales to take corrective action when needed.
  • Optimize regional and territory-based goals as part of the company sales plan.
  • Develop automated systems and processes that provide easy access to additional Altium products and services in collaboration with senior sales management.
  • Recruit and develop a motivated, results-oriented sales team, and provide the coaching and training to support their success and retention.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of competitive products and services.
  • Build influential, productive relationships with Marketing, Sales Ops, Business Intel, and other internal teams to develop and achieve company targets.
  • Sales at Altium go beyond growth and targets, bringing transformative technologies to companies in clean energy, transport, medicine, science, and more. From one-person shops to industry leaders, you’ll connect inventors, engineers, and innovators with a better way to work and tools to change the world.

Skills and Experience

  • Self-directed and resourceful professional with a demonstrated record of using sales systems to exceed targets.
  • College degree or relevant experience.
  • Five or more years of sales leadership experience.
  • Experience working directly with sales operations and other business units.
  • Able to operate in a high-volume transactional sales model.
  • Salesforce expertise; can interpret, analyze, review, and comment in detail on the Salesforce Wave dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Marketo, SFDC
