Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Electrical/Electronics, Electro-mechanical, Engineering, Avionics or Physics discipline (minimum 2.2)
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Work on rotational placements in Electronics Engineering or Missile Architecture functions
  • Design and integrate electronics for missile systems, including Weapon Control Units, Actuators, Telemetry & Communication Systems
  • Define topology and system level design for missiles
  • Manage missile electrical/electronic equipment
  • Undertake and manage design and performance trade-off studies
  • Influence delivery of bespoke subsystem electrical/electronic equipment (e.g. control units, PSUs, data links, actuation systems, telemetry units)
  • Assist with testing and trials of components and missiles during the development phase
