Candidates should possess a completed natural science or technical university degree (Bachelor or Master), along with several years of professional experience in electronics development, preferably for medical products. They should have in-depth knowledge of hardware development and a solid basic technical understanding, as well as excellent learning and change orientation, self-reflection, and cooperation and teamwork skills. Furthermore, candidates must have strong knowledge in the development of electronic circuits, familiarity with common tools for embedded hardware development (schematic editors, layout tools, simulation programs, common measuring devices and laboratory equipment), and programming microcontroller systems.
The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for independently designing analog and digital circuits for medical devices according to internal processes and standards, evaluating and improving the electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) of electronic circuits and layouts, implementing standards for electrical and functional safety for medical devices (IEC60601), independently programming microcontrollers according to internal processes and standards, analyzing quality problems related to electronic causes, and handling component releases and supporting 2nd Source searches or supplier changes. They will also be responsible for designing and developing test equipment in the production and development environment, establishing and maintaining quality-assured measures in the electronics area, and securely using ECAD systems (Pulsonix).
