Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in electronics design, fabrication, and testing
  • Expertise in PCB design and best practices
  • Experience using PCBA design tools (Altium Designer, EAGLE, KiCad, etc.)
  • Experience implementing mixed-signal PCBs with digital communications (UART, I2C, SPI, RS422, RS485, CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, Spacewire, etc.)
  • Experience using common laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronics hardware needed to enable on-demand, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation workflows
  • Create schematics and layouts for custom hardware
  • Analyze circuit performance to ensure design meets requirements
  • Oversee the fabrication process
  • Perform acceptance testing to ensure hardware meets specifications
  • Contribute to the design and development of a simulation system capable of automatically provisioning and deploying resources to support simulation workflows
