Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (including General, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Production, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Civil, Electrical/Electronic, or Software) or Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, Computing, or Applied Science (minimum 2.2)
  • British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Ability to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and fault finding non-conforming products or equipment
  • Authoring instructions and/or specifications
  • Drafting and publishing drawing packs
  • Analysing test and production related data
  • Introducing new products and equipment into Manufacturing
  • Process improvements
  • Supporting the testing and programming of systems from circuit cards to missiles
  • Working with technologies including electronics, mechatronics, optics, and RF
  • Collaborating with Product Design, Test Equipment Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance
  • Ensuring products meet high quality standards
