Candidates must have IPC J-STD-001 certification and a high school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an electronic assembler or in a similar role is required, along with proficiency in soldering and working with electronic components. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions is essential, as is strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also necessary.
The Electronic Assembler will assemble electronic components and products according to specifications and schematics. They will perform soldering tasks in compliance with IPC J-STD-001 standards and inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. The role involves identifying and troubleshooting defects in assemblies, using hand tools and machinery for assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. They must follow safety guidelines, document assembly processes, collaborate with team members, and continuously improve assembly techniques for efficiency and quality.
