Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Ten or more years of experience with high-voltage substation design (distribution, sub-transmission, and transmission level voltage classes)
Proficiency in Bentley Projectwise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu PDF Editor
Proficiency in SAP/Maximo (Preferred)
Professional Engineering (PE) License (preferred)
Self-motivated
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written, organizational, and verbal)
Flexible work schedule (hybrid or remote)

Responsibilities

Act as lead engineer on multi-disciplinary substation design projects, delegate tasks, and ensure projects adhere to budget and schedule
Coordinate electrical design with civil/structural and civil/site engineering teams
Attend and/or conduct client and project meetings
Create detailed project proposals including scoping, conceptual design, and cost estimates
Assist with marketing, project reports, and technical presentations
Provide support to business development and/or pursuit activities
Coordinate with internal project controls and accounting staff
Perform detailed quality reviews of project deliverables
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and design technicians
Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating engineering standards
Prepare electrical design deliverables, including one-lines, installation plans, section views, and details for power substation equipment
Prepare schematics, panel elevations, panel wiring diagrams, and interconnection diagrams for protective relaying & control schemes
Provide research and development recommendations for equipment and/or materials
