Requirements

5+ years of experience in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
Hands-on experience with older avionics systems, components, or military/aerospace electronics
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics)
Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and component-level troubleshooting
Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD, or other aerospace standards a plus
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and update electrical circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts
Perform reverse engineering and redesign for obsolete or discontinued avionics components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet aerospace industry standards
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of circuit boards and electronic systems
Prepare technical documentation including design reports, test procedures, and compliance records
