Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline and 6+ years of product development/testing experience, or Master’s degree or higher in a related field and 3-4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Experience in PCB design and tests, familiar with different test tools
  • Experience in both analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience in working with wireless communication circuit design
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Technical area leadership for diagnosing design and product features
  • Guides development and documentation of test plan protocols, standard operating procedures, specifications and test procedures
  • Evaluate layouts, key components, and the construction of PCB designs
  • Identify and create test cases for the connected device. Execute test cases to test the performance and detect errors and defects
  • Evaluate performance of hardware wireless connectivity and real time data communication
  • Provide EE support, e.g., design fixtures and evaluate analog/digital signals to guide the cross functional team in product evaluation
  • Supports reviews held by cross functional teams on related projects and contributes as a functional expert
  • Interfaces with appropriate internal and external resources to ensure intellectual property is appropriately protected
