Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, physics, or applied physics, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Familiarity with analog and digital electrical circuits, coding, and data analysis is required, along with problem-solving skills, good mechanical aptitude, and strong organizational skills.
The Electrical Engineer will conduct low-noise electrical measurements of semiconductor spin qubit devices at cryogenic temperatures, perform hands-on work on mechanical and electrical systems and components, acquire and analyze electrical device characterization data, troubleshoot and resolve test characterization processes, develop and improve measurement systems and software, analyze data, organize and summarize results, and communicate technical findings effectively with team members through oral and written reporting. They will also function safely in a cryogenic laboratory environment performing assembly, integration, test, and troubleshooting tasks.
