Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering field, and should hold membership in an internationally recognized professional organization such as AIHA, ACGIH, IOSH, IChemE, or ASSP. They must also have experience managing industrial hygiene and ergonomics risks within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceutical, or related high-risk industries.

Responsibilities

The EHS Engineer – Industrial Hygiene will be responsible for establishing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the environment, health, and safety programs for the facility, including the strategic objectives and targets of Haleon’s Industrial Hygiene program and the management of related programs. This role involves providing guidance in managing budgets for outside services and operating expenses, leading and supporting Safety at the site related to key areas such as confined space, process safety, machinery safety, electrical and utilities safety, injury and illness prevention, incident investigation (RCA), risk assessments, regulatory compliance, internal auditing, EHS training, and behavioral safety, as well as managing compliance to the Haleon Chemical Agent Standard and related Technical Support Documents (TSDs).
