Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Safety, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of EHS-related working experience
  • ISO 14001/ISO 45001 internal auditor certificate preferred
  • National registered safety engineer preferred
  • Good communication skills, ability to speak English
  • Familiarity with Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong technical expertise
  • Experience with ISO standards and Chinese environmental regulations

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local environment protection bureaus
  • Waste & pollution control, testing, and inspection management
  • Monthly inspection according to EHS/OS system standards
  • Provide technical support for new projects and renovations
  • Conduct regular internal audits and attend external ISO audits
  • ISO 14001 management system maintenance
  • Manage Environment Permits
  • Manage Industry Hygiene Permits
  • Special equipment regular monitoring
  • Create safety programs and increase awareness
  • Conduct training on corporate safety initiatives and educate staff and employees
  • Manage the EHS cross-function teams to deliver Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment results
  • Evaluate work area and safety policy implementation
  • Lead/coordinate site regular SOT/internal audit
  • ISO 45001 management system maintenance
  • China National safety standardization system maintenance
  • Ensure fire fighting protection systems are in good working condition through systematic testing and maintenance
  • Coach and lead site security guards to protect company property
  • Manage security-related training
