Responsibilities

  • Review Requests For Proposal (RFP) information to ensure adequate information has been received to prepare project costing.
  • Liaise with operational and sales teams as appropriate.
  • Provide support to the Sales team during teleconferences with clients to ensure a clear understanding and accurate estimation of the technical aspects of projects.
  • Seek assistance from senior members of the proposals team and follow up when necessary.
  • Build cost estimates in the current costing tool.
  • Draft and complete bid proposals using current templates with moderate review from the supervisor.
  • Receive mentorship from senior members of the Drug Product Commercial Proposal team related to pricing for opportunities.
  • Own the Executive Inbound and Outbound Opportunity Review teleconference segments for assigned opportunities.
  • Acquire necessary internal approvals before sending the final proposal to the Sales team.
  • Manage the editing and updating of quote records in SalesForce.com.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the proposals process.

Keys to Success

Education

  • Bachelor’s level education in Science, Engineering, or Business is strongly preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional working experience.
  • Pharmaceutical services proven experience is helpful but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Language Skills: Proficient in both English and Italian.
  • MS Office Suite: High proficiency and capability, primarily with Excel and Word.
  • Client-Facing Documents: Experience writing client-facing documents in MS Word.
  • Salesforce.com (CRM): Proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse group of colleagues in various locations.
  • Teamwork: Proven track record to work in a team environment with shared critical metric goals.
