  • Eligibility to access classified information at the Confidential U.S. Security Clearance level
  • MS Degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-related field
  • Research experience in at least one of the following areas: Autonomous Vehicle Technology, Connected Vehicles, Advanced Wireless Technology, Robotics, Zero Barrier Mobility/Accessibility, User Experience, Displays, HMI, Simulation, or other related areas
  • Strong theoretical, experimental, or software programming skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop immersive user experience simulation solutions for automated driving-enabled vehicles and robotic systems
  • Create tools to aid in the development or deployment of human-vehicle interface solutions
  • Conduct user studies to enable evidence-based decisions about in-vehicle interfaces
  • Participate in government-funded research work, such as the NASA Lunar Terrain Vehicle
  • Document your research through internal and external publications
  • Facilitate technology transfer via active participation in cross-functional teams
