Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience driving large trucks, trailers, or similar vehicles, with experience in specialized transportation being a plus. A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent is required, along with endorsements for transporting trailers. A strong commitment to safe driving practices and a clean driving record is essential, as well as basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

The Driver will safely transport autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) to assigned destinations for testing, deployment, or customer deliveries. They will ensure the vehicles and trailers are properly maintained, perform regular inspections, and report any mechanical issues. The Driver will plan efficient routes for timely deliveries, collaborate with logistics and operations teams, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and securely load and unload the vessels. Additionally, they will complete and maintain transport documentation, comply with all transportation regulations, and maintain clear communication with management and team members regarding delivery status.
