Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (implied from incomplete "Bachelo")
  • Strong foundation in manufacturing operations with practical shop-floor experience, preferably as a process engineer or production supervisor
  • Experience building and deploying reports, automated workflows, and custom business applications to transform manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, including design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports
  • Expertise in Power Query, DAX, Power FX for data transformation and automation
  • Experience integrating data sources such as SAP, SQL databases, and Excel into PowerBI
  • Knowledge of SAP and ability to stay current with updates and best practices
  • Experience with MS Power Platform for developing and maintaining solutions
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for documentation management, including naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata tagging
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED, value stream mapping, DMAIC, PDCA)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports for actionable insights across business units
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and optimize PowerBI reports for performance, scalability, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Automate and streamline data processes using PowerBI tools; troubleshoot data models, queries, and visualizations
  • Integrate data from sources like SAP, SQL, and Excel; ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Collaborate with IT and database administrators for data extraction and loading into PowerBI
  • Work with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, sales) to align reports with business goals
  • Train end-users on PowerBI and provide ongoing support; stay current with SAP and PowerBI trends
  • Develop and maintain MS Power Platform solutions to improve processes
  • Manage manufacturing operating system documentation in SharePoint, including organization, version control, naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata tagging
  • Provide training and support for SharePoint; monitor engagement and improve site structure
  • Partner with CI teams to quantify Lean Six Sigma project impacts and provide data models/tools for methodologies like DMAIC and PDCA
  • Create visualizations and presentations for improvement outcomes
  • Serve as liaison between production, engineering, CI, and leadership; train staff on BI tools
  • Build rapport with Site Director of Operations and collaborate with site leadership on projects improving focus areas
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to track performance and recommend data-driven solutions
  • Monitor daily/weekly production data to flag anomalies and drive real-time corrective actions
  • Other duties as assigned
