Requirements

  • Highly credible HPE Telco expert and authority with deep business and technical knowledge of Telco Compute, operators' technical & business challenges, NEPs solutions, and other partners' added value
  • Ability to serve as thought-leader/confidant consultant to decision makers at Operators and NEPs for roadmap/strategy advice, identifying HPE Telco SMEs, what-if scenarios (technical, business case, operational), bringing partners together, market knowledge, and coaching on new technologies/business models/operational risks
  • Proactive in determining new opportunities, shaping customer future, addressing threats based on market/competitive/customer knowledge
  • Knowledge to propose advanced technology, theories, or techniques impacting Telecom disciplines (Core, Cloud Ran, Far Edge, etc.) demonstrating HPE added value
  • Ability to champion large projects affecting Telecom customers’ long-range technical/business goals
  • Experience mentoring/guiding peers and less qualified employees for knowledge transfer and team growth
  • Deep technical expertise for hardware, software, or services in creating/delivering Telecom specific proposals
  • Skills to create/maintain effective customer relationships for satisfaction by demonstrating HPE added value
  • Ability to develop/maintain knowledge of adjacent, leading-edge, and emerging technologies in Telecom industry and market segments
  • Capability to guide customers on migrating/integrating technologies in new/existing environments based on joint technical journey
  • Participation in deep-dive telecom discussions to translate customer problems into HPE solutions

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work with customers to determine new opportunities, shape their future, or address threats based on market/competitive/customer knowledge
  • Provide telecom specific solutions and expertise to Account teams and Customer network CTO executives, driving technical & strategic discussions into effective business plans
  • Determine and pursue courses of action to accomplish objectives in coordination with Account teams and Customer Network management teams
  • Serve as organization spokesperson on specialized Telecom projects or programs
  • Champion large projects affecting Telecom customers’ long-range technical/business goals to accelerate HPE and Customer objectives
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to peers and less qualified employees for knowledge transfer and team growth
  • Provide deep technical expertise for hardware, software, or services in creation/delivery of Telecom specific proposals meeting customers’ business needs
  • Create and maintain effective customer relationships to secure satisfaction by demonstrating HPE added value
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of adjacent, leading-edge, emerging technologies in Telecom industry and associated market segments
  • Guide customers on migrating/integrating technologies in new/existing environments based on joint defined technical journey
  • Participate in deep-dive telecom specific discussions to translate customer problems into solutions for HPE Account teams
