The Director of Sales will lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers to acquire and expand relationships with large organizations in fintech, banking, and embedded finance. They will develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Marqeta's presence across the UK and Europe, identify and engage decision-makers at financial institutions, and advise them on card and payment solutions. The role involves becoming an expert in Marqeta's platform, providing accurate pipeline forecasts, monitoring market shifts, aligning with internal teams, and building a high-performing sales culture.
