Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of B2B SaaS product design leadership experience, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise platform products. Experience with AI, developer, or platform-related products is highly desirable, along with a proven ability to design for highly technical domains and a deep understanding of identity and access management, authentication trends, and platform technologies. A track record of launching high-impact security and/or AI-enabled products, expertise in recruiting, coaching, and scaling design leaders, strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication and storytelling skills, and a growth mindset with radical ownership are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director, Product Design - XAM & AI will lead and grow design teams for XAM and AI product experiences, driving end-to-end design vision and execution. They will define program-level plans to connect strategy with execution, partner with Product, Engineering, GTM, Research, and Data to shape roadmaps, and champion the customer voice in technically complex domains. Responsibilities also include building and mentoring a high-performing design organization, scaling impact across teams, and representing 1Password externally in design, security, and AI communities.
